I have been thinking about how reality responds when it feels like nothing is moving.

Ernest Holmes writes something in The Science of Mind that cuts through confusion. He brings together scripture, philosophy, and lived human testimony into one simple idea:

Causation is from within.

Not because the outer world is fake. Not because circumstances do not matter. But because the most consistent force shaping what we experience is the mental atmosphere we live in.

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

Aristotle, Demosthenes, Shakespeare.

Different eras. Same conclusion.

What you expect, you find. What you wish, you believe. Thinking makes it so.

This is a challenge.

Because it forces a question most of us avoid:

What am I consistently expecting?

Holmes says we are surrounded by an Infinite Intelligence that responds to our mental states. He describes it as a creative medium that cannot contradict what it receives. It corresponds. It reflects.

“It is done unto you as you believe.”

That line can feel almost offensive if you have suffered, worked hard, or tried to do the right thing and still felt blocked.

So let me say this clearly.

If the world is responding to what you consistently carry, then your work is not only to fix circumstances.

Your work is also to refine the mental state you live inside.

A lot of us treat thought like background noise.

Holmes treats it like a command input.

He suggests that every time you think, you set mind in motion. And because mind is one, it cannot contradict the pattern you impress upon it. It creates after that pattern.

It means the inner life is not private.

It is productive.

It is generating outcomes.

This is where the teaching becomes practical.

If my mental state is dominated by urgency, I will build a life that feels urgent.

If my mental state is saturated in distrust, I will interpret everything through distrust.

If my mental state is quiet, clear, and directed, I will recognize openings I used to miss.

This is why Holmes says the study of thought is the foundation of healing and everyday demonstration. Not just physical healing. Holistic healing.

Environment. Relationships. Supply. Direction.

Holmes says spirit can make no gift we do not accept.

Sometimes the barrier is the identity we are still holding.

Not consciously.

Subtly.

The identity that expects to be dismissed.

The identity that expects to be rushed.

The identity that expects results to be withheld.

Even when we want change, those identities can sit behind the eyes like default settings.

And the universe corresponds.

We speak expectation into the medium of life.

We rehearse narratives.

We hold mental pictures.

We return to the same emotional conclusions.

Then we wonder why our days keep producing the same results.

If you want a different life, you may need a different internal pattern.

Not because you are wrong.

Because you are powerful.

And if you are powerful, then your attention matters.

Your expectation matters.

Your inner dialogue matters.

I am not asking you to force positivity.

I am asking you to do something more honest instead.

Audit your expectation.

What are you unconsciously rehearsing?

What are you mentally bracing for?

What do you keep expecting from people, from money, from your body, from opportunity, from yourself?

Then ask a better question.

What would my life look like if I expected something higher, not because I am naive, but because I am aligned?

Holmes calls it demonstration.

I call it mental discipline.

Not discipline for productivity.

Discipline for direction.

The world mirrors your mental state with alarming consistency.

If you are in a season where results feel delayed, do not only push harder.

Shift the expectation.

Clarify the picture.

Then let your actions come from that clarity.

What If You Didn't Have to Push Yourself Anymore?

Imagine waking up Monday being pulled out of bed — not needing to pushing yourself out of it.

That pull isn't motivation. It isn't willpower. It's what happens when Tony Robbins conditions a different identity into your nervous system.  An identity doesn't wait, doesn't hesitate, doesn't negotiate with itself.

That's what Unleash the Power Within does. It’s not inspiration. It’s Conditioning. The patterns that keep you hesitating, shrinking, and circling the same problems — Tony interrupts them at the root and installs new ones. You don't leave motivated. You leave re-wired differently.

4 days. Virtual. March 12–15. 5 million people across 195 countries have done this. It’s your time.

Save $100 by getting a ticket before March 6th. After that the price goes up. But the real cost is another year pushing instead of being pulled.
